The division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Lourde hospital deals with pregnancy, childbirth and treatment of diseases that affects the female reproductive system. Obstetrics is mainly concerned with prenatal services and delivery whereas Gynaecology provides treatments and services for a comprehensive range of gynecological problems. There are separate private rooms at fourth floor in the hospital which is taking care of OBG and Gynecological services. Alternative to open surgeries, Gynecologic Laparoscopy is often used in gynaec procedures such as Ovarian Cystectomy, Twisted Ovarian Cystectomy, Hysterectomy (Vaginal/Lap), Myomectomy, Recanalization, Tubal Cannulation, removal of blocks in tube, mesh repair, etc. Often performed by gynecologists.
